Our Solution Implementation Process
On successful agreement of your new service, your sales representative will organise a kick-off meeting with a number of key BlueCentral personnel who will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of your new solution. These key personnel are:
- Sales Representative: Responsible for all commercial aspects of your solution. Any changes required with a commercial impact will be negotiated through your sales representative
- Technical Consultant: Responsible for all technical design aspects of your solution. Any changes required to the architecture or functionality of the solution should be discussed with your technical consultant.
- Project Manager or Co-ordinator: Responsible for managing the delivery of your solution. The project coordinator will be your key contact through the provisioning of your new solution.
- Senior Engineer: Responsible for building, deploying and testing your solution. The senior engineer will be able to answer any specific technical or operational questions you have about the new solution.
Hardware Provisioning
After the kick off meeting is completed, the project coordinator will organize provisioning of all equipment and software associated with your deal. The project coordinator will then closely monitor the delivery times of each vendor to ensure delivery is on-time and won’t delay the hand over date of your new solution.
Micro Design
During the provisioning process, the engineering team will work with your company’s nominated technical resources to define and document the finer details of the solution being provisioned. This involves technical definition of firewall rules, server disk configurations, operating system configurations, backup configurations and any other requirement. This document, once finalised, becomes the reference document for both your technical resources and BlueCentral engineers and ensures the solution is delivered to your specifications and expectations.
Solution Build for E-Commerce
Once all equipment and software is received and the micro design document is completed, the engineering team will build the solution. This involves racking and cabling all equipment in our secure datacenter, performing initial configuration as per the specifications in the micro design and then running through a comprehensive test program to ensure all aspects of your solution are working as intended.
Handover of the Hosted Environment to You, the Customer
After our engineers have successfully completed build and testing of your new solution, we will present all relative login details to your technical contacts and your new solution will be ready for use.
What this means for your business:
- Formal project management based on industry standards
- Management of project changes and risks
- Central point of contact through your project coordinator
- Regular project updates
- Formal documentation describing the technical aspects of your new platform
- Highly Experienced Engineers deploying and testing of your new platform.
