BlueCentral to host JayThom’s application infrastructure - CRM provider turns to BlueCentral for 24x7 infrastructure support

BlueCentral, a leader in hosting and mobility solutions, announced today it will host the critical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms of systems integrator JayThom’s expanding client base. JayThom (www.jaythom.com.au) selected BlueCentral for its proven expertise in providing a scalable, managed infrastructure with high availability and 24x7 support to meet its customer’s business demands.

Integrator JayThom has more than 20 years experience in implementing CRM systems across various industries including finance, recruitment, professional services, manufacturing and the local government sector. The integrator has developed a customised application for the Government and local council marketplace -- branded CouncilRM – providing them with the capacity to integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM with their systems to create efficiencies and support customer interactions more effectively.

Brett Yorgey, JayThom managing director, said appointing BlueCentral to manage its application infrastructure enabled the company to return to its core business -- providing specialist consulting and CRM services expertise.

Yorgey said JayThom’s enterprise and government clients were continually seeking new ways to drive value out of customer information and contact tracking. As CRM systems became more critical to the business the infrastructure that these applications operated on, and the management of the platform, had grown in sophistication.

“We no longer need to focus on fostering skill sets around managing critical infrastructure which had become increasingly sophisticated,” he said. BlueCentral’s capacity to offer 24 x 7 support and the ability to scale up as required also influenced JayThom’s decision to sign a three year managed infrastructure services agreement with the outsourcer.

Yorgey said when the decision was made to outsource their hosted infrastructure that 24 x 7 support was crucial, with downtime kept to an absolute minimum, as customers’ businesses depended on platforms that were available on demand, anytime and anywhere.

"High availability and support is a key requirement for our growing business,” Yorgey said. “We are expanding our CRM application based services to support international customers and required infrastructure to support servicing these businesses effectively.” Under the terms of the agreement BlueCentral provides managed infrastructure services, and a dedicated team of engineering and account management expertise to scale easily as the business expands. To manage the account BlueCentral will leverage a broad range of technologies including secure firewall, network switching, server virtualisation, SAN storage and data back-up services.
